After logging in, the first page you shall visit is the 'Dashboard' page. This is basically a self maintainable overview for your Analytics. What does this mean?
You can customise what reports you want to view. I will try briefly explain some functions that may be very useful for your business.
Caption 1 - Export/Email; this allows you to export the Dashboard report into different file formats, this then can be downloaded or sent via email.
Caption 2 - Timeline; Click on the date range to expand the Calandar & Timeline window, this allows you to set a range of dates to display the timeline in.
Caption 3 - Visits; Click on the down arrow next to 'Visits' to bring up graph options. This allows you to select what to display and how, Visits means the amount of people that have visited your emag.
To view more details, click on the report you wish to view. Here are some reports and understanding what they are:
Visits - The number of visits your site receives is the most basic measure of how effectively you promote your site.
Pageviews - Pageviews is the total number of pages viewed on your site and is a general measure of how much your site is used.
Pages/Visit - Average Pageviews is one way of measuring visit quality. A high Average Pageviews number suggests that visitors interact extensively with your site.
Bounce Rate - Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page visits (i.e. visits in which the person left your site from the entrance page).
Avg. Time on Site - Time on Site is one way of measuring visit quality. If visitors spend a long time visiting your site, they may be interacting extensively with it.
% New Visits - A high number of new visitors suggests that you are successful at driving traffic to your site while a high number of return visitors suggests that the site content is engaging enough for visitors to come back.

The ability to see when your traffic is most, wheather it be during a particular season such as Summer or even during the holidays or weekends. This can help
your company by achieving better results.
Other features that are quiet handy, Map Overlay; see where your target audience is coming from. If you have plans of expanding
use the maps to locate where most your audience is to possible think of opening a new branch.
How about checking to see how many new people are looking at your emag, or seeing if your content is bringing back people. You can accurate review and
analyis to see if your content is bringing old customers back for more.
